In addition, they are an influential lobbyist and thought leader, publishes market-leading research into risk, insurance and placement issues and also works with insurer and broker clients to drive strategic and operational improvements across the industry. They are licensed by the Bar Standards Board of the Bar Council to access barristers directly, for both contentious and pre-contractual legal work in the field of insurance. They believe the business is unique in the UK in this regard.

The Role:
We are looking for a Manager to take on the following responsibilities:
 Designing analytical work and project outlines
 Managing projects and project teams
 Producing and quality-checking analytical output
 Running client meetings and presenting findings
 Leading negotiation meetings between clients and their insurers/brokers
 Supporting the preparation of project proposals
 Line managing, mentoring and developing a team of analysts
 Supporting identification and closure of follow on work for clients
 Taking an active role in the ongoing growth and development of the business

Candidate Profile
The candidate will have initiative, intuition, and creativity as well as a strong background in conceptual problem solving and analytic skills:
 Experience in a major strategy consulting firm
 A strong analytical background
 Knowledge, interest and experience in the financial services sector and preferably some exposure to risk analysis work and the commercial insurance industry (but a detailed background in insurance is not required)
 Ability to build and apply depth of content knowledge in project execution and thought leadership
 Ability to own a problem from formulation to conclusion, driving progression and agreement at each stage
 Ability to oversee primary research, define trends, draw conclusions and present recommendations
 Capacity to build client intimacy by innovative thinking around their problems
 Desire to learn and to continuously develop your expertise
 Willingness to go the extra mile for the team and the client
 Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation and presentation skills
